Education & Workforce Development

Working in education gives Anthony a unique perspective on the challenges that face Pennsylvania’s education system. Anthony is driven by the belief that our Commonwealth should be first in the nation when it comes to education, workforce development and job training. As school districts around Pennsylvania are still seeking to make up for lost time in the classroom due to a one in a century global pandemic, we must properly invest in our young people and in our future.

To Anthony a better school system means:

  • Adequate funding for basic and special education

  • Funding for afterschool and extracurricular programing

  • New buildings and facilities free from lead or asbestos

  • Fully staffed schools with better pay

  • Trauma informed support services for children

  • Nutritious and appetizing meals

  • Access to high-speed internet and technology for remote learning

  • Create training and opportunities to enter into trade school

  • A safe environment for both students and staff
